Sellers with active listings on eBay can use Promoted Listings Standard to set up ad campaigns to market their inventory. Promoted Listings Standard is an eBay advertising service that sellers can use to promote selected items in their inventory on the eBay marketplace. When you include a listing in an ad campaign, eBay advertises your listing (on eBay) to buyers who show interest in similar products. You decide what listings to promote and the ad rate, the percentage of an item's final sale price (excluding shipping and taxes) that you will be charged when your item sells. You pay only when your item sells.

Note: At this time, MIP does not support Promoted Listings Advanced campaigns.

For more information about Promoted Listings Standard, see Promoted Listings in the Seller Center.

What you need

You do not need much to take advantage of Promoted Listings Standard. Using the SKUs or item IDs for your inventory on eBay, you can determine which of those listings are eligible for inclusion in a Promoted Listings Standard ad campaign. Even simpler, if you know the categories that you list in, MIP will give you a list of all eligible listings in those categories. The eligibility response feed will also provide the trending ad rate percentages for your eligible listings, so you can create competitive and profitable ad campaigns.
