Sample Widgets

The following section provides some sample widgets that demonstrate the capabilities of the toolkit in developing modules (widgets, gadgets, badges). The source code is freely available to these modules for you to download, add, modify or simply use at your discretion. NOTE: these widgets cannot be deployed without making some modifications to the parameters like AffiliateID and APPID. These widgets are offered under the COMMON DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION LICENSE(CDDL).

eBay Item Badge Widget

The eBay Item Badge widget is a small (300 x 90) size widget that displays information about an eBay item. Publishers can configure the widget to display item information using an item id or the result of a search. The item id and the search term are configurable in the widget. The widget displays detailed item information when the user hovers over the widget using the mouse.

 
eBay Search Widget

The eBay search widget is skyscraper shaped widget that displays upto three items based on seller id or a search term. The widget can be configured using a seller id or using a search keyowrd. The widget also allows users to search for eBay items by typing in search terms in the search box.
